The development will comprise of a contemporary, eco development in seven sinuous interconnecting elements, many with full or partial sea views that can run off grid and operate with 50% less staff than a conventional resort hotel.
The project comes complete with advanced concept designs, outline planning consent and an exclusive option to circa 32,500 of building land.
In addition to the accommodation it is proposed that the resort will include:
• Business / Leisure Complex with 4 Cinemas;
• Spa & 1,000m2 Covered Lido;
• Indoor & Outdoor Pools
• Extensive Garden with BBQ & Meditation Area
• High Tech Food Zone with 7 Food Outlets;
• Vertical Farm – producing 750,000 organic salad and fruit crops yearly
• 300,000 Litre Reservoir – Part of an integrated water reclamation programme
• Power Generation – Capability to be 100% self-sufficient for water & electricity
• Advanced Integrated Building & Client Management Systems including robotics
Targeting a valuation of circa €180 million by 2025/6, high occupancy and rate maximisation are of course important, however, the philosophy is to minimise costs by designing out waste in construction, operation and maintenance.
During the planning and construction phases, innovative design features and building practices will result in savings that are large enough to fund over 80% of the advanced “technology”. This advanced technology and design philosophy will reduce operating costs by circa €4 million annually.
